Events Since its launch in 2002, CURE has built a community of cancer patients and survivors drawn to a magazine that blends humanity and science, bringing readers the latest in every aspect of the cancer journey. CURE’s Patient and Survivor Forum empowers cancer patients and their caregivers by learning from professional speakers and from each other about cancer—from treatment options to supportive care and psychosocial issues. In addition, CURE’s breast cancer-specific meeting, the Day of Caring Breast Cancer Forum unites patients, survivors, and caregivers from across the country for a weekend of national speakers, breakout sessions, and networking to explore the latest updates in breast cancer. Our Extraordinary Healer Award, which encourages readers to nominate a favorite oncology nurse in essays and art, culminates at a reception during the Oncology Nursing Society’s Annual Congress, where CURE Media Group announces the winner of CURE’s Extraordinary Healer Award for Oncology Nursing.
